The olives come from 1200 trees situated near the Adriatic coast, about 300 meters above the sea level and not far from one of the highest Italian mountains, the “Gran Sasso”, an ideal location for the growing of the fruit.
The variety of olives consists of 3 typical cultivar from Abruzzo:
Leccino which gives to the oil a delicate and sophisticated taste.
Intosso, typically used for table olives, gives a decided fruitiness to the oil.
Dritta is intense, pungent and slightly bitter, it gives strength to the oil.
